Glass Keyboard

This glass “no-key” keyboard, designed by Kong Fanwen, could be a nice alternative to the “Really Cool” waterproof keyboard that we featured last month. The plan is to use a tiny camera with motion capture technology that will track your fingers as you type. Unfortunately, at this time, this is just a concept.

Temperature sensitive tile

Thinking of a bathroom makeover? If so, check out this great tile. It’s temperature sensitive so that the color changes as the tile heats. The palatte below shows single tiles in change and the series of photos there after show a full shower change. Pretty cool stuff from Moving Color
You walk into shower filled completely with boring black tile and turn the water on. Soon the shower walls begin to transform themselves into psychedelic changing patterns. This cool scenario really exists.

Inspired by the stunning Northern Lights of Alaska, this line features 4 × 4 glass tiles that appear black at room temperature and move through the color spectrum when temperature (warm water, radiant heat, etc) is applied. The moving color is dynamic to the temperature of the heating agent.

A Story without Words
